Peintre, écrivain, voyageur, Patrick Jager a publié plusieurs carnets de voyage, sur le Népal, sur le chemin de St. Jacques de Compostelle, sur les Alpes et la Chartreuse ou il vit. Cet été Patrick organise les stages sur l’approche taoïste de l’aquarelle.
Painter, writer, voyager, Patrick Jager has published a number of journals of his travels in Nepal, the Camino de Santiago, the Alps and the Chartreuse where he lives. This summer Patrick conducts workshops in which he teaches his Taoist approach to watercolors.

Le stage aura lieu aussi bien en atelier qu’en extérieur sur le motif, dans un environnement naturel ressourçant : 9h30-12h30 ; 15h-18h30. La liste de matériel sera fourni à l’inscription.
The work shop will take place in the atelier as well as outdoors in an inspiring environment. Class hours are from 9:30 to 12:30 and 15:00 to 18:30. A list of materials will be furnished at the time of inscription
Jour 1 : Les fondamentaux techniques de la pratique de l’aquarelle : les différentes qualités des traits de pinceau, le sec/le mouillé, l’ombre et la lumière.
Day 1 : The fundamentals of watercolors : the different brush strokes,dry/ wet, shadow and light.
Jour 2 : Suite des fondamentaux techniques : La présence à la peinture par le souffle, l’unique trait de pinceau, le mélange des couleurs, les gradations de l’intensité.
Day 2 : Furthering the fundamentals : Being present through the breath, the unique brush stroke, the mixture of colors, the graduation of intensity.
Jour 3 : Les 5 énergies de l’aquarelle : Les énergies du Terre, Feu, et de l’Eau, et les Qi Gong associés, ou comment obtenir une peinture épanouie ou sobre.
Day 3 : The 5 energies of watercolors : The energies of Earth, fire, water, and the Qi Gong associated, or how to obtain a painting that is radiant or somber.
Jour 4 : Suite des 5 énergies de l’aquarelle : Les énergies du Bois et du Métal et les Qi Gong associés, ou comment obtenir une peinture éclatante ou concentrée.
Day 4 : Furthering the 5 Energie of watercolors :The energies of wood and metal and the associated Qi Gong or how to obtain a painting that is radiant or focal.
Jour 5 : L’harmonie de la Terre et la créativité : principes de composition.
Day 5 : The harmony of the earth and creativity : the principals of composition.
Jour 6 : L’essence de la créativité : peindre comme on respire, l’intention et la présence intérieure. Réaliser son expression.
Day 6 : The essence of creativity : Paint as you breathe, intention and being present to your inner self. Realize your personal expression.

Les bienfaits du Qi Gong permettent de rencontrer le souffle de la peinture à travers les 5 énergies du Tao : dynamique du Bois, appliquée au pinceau et à la composition, plénitude du Feu à travers le format et le dessin, condensation du Métal par le mouillé, le subtil, le fade, l’essentiel de l’Eau et enfin l’équilibre de la Terre. For those who have accomplished The 5 Energies workshop and wish to further develop their skills. This Atelier centers on the gaining of fluidity through Qi-gong. This practice deepens ones expression of light, the quality of gesture in force, fluidity, suppleness, precision and energy.
